History Department Brochure Redesign
This project involved redesigning a brochure for the Virginia Tech History Department. The purpose of the brochure is to advertise for the department's masters program. All of the content given had to fit into the brochure; similarly, only a few images were available for use in the design.
Brochure for the Funeral Consumer's Alliance
I created this brochure for the Funeral Consumer's Alliance of the Virginia Blue Ridge, as part of a public relations campaign to improve the local chapter's reach and brand. This campaign was the primary project for a Public Relations Campaigns course, and involved working directly with the client.
Hokie House Website
I used Bootstrap to redesign the website for Hokie House, a restaurant in Blacksburg, Virginia. The project was done individually without consulting Hokie House; it is in no way an official website representing the restaurant.
Editorial Illustration
The purpose of this project was to create a unique editorial illustration to accompany an article. I chose an article titled "The Risks of Pulling an All-Nighter," and accompanied the article with this edited stock image. I used Photoshop for image editing and InDesign to compose the layout.
Infographic
This project was aimed at creating an infographic on a popular or controversial topic; I chose to expose "Molly," a controversial drug that was often in the news during 2013. I used Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to develop the infographic and its designs.
Virginia Tech Television Identity Package
After creating a consistent logo, I created a business card, letterhead and envelope for Virginia Tech Television. I used Illustrator for the logo and InDesign for the design of each document. For more examples of this project, view the accompanying letterhead and envelope.
